Aplication of speckle pattern interferomery method in measuring of displacement of carrot’s root cross-section

Abstract: Results of investigations on displacement of carrot’s root cross section using electronical speckle pattern interferometry method (ESPI) were introduced. Methodology of measurements of displacement of biological materials and description of test stand was presented. Maps of displacement of carrot’s root cross-section in its plane as well as in the transverse direction were determined. The graphs of displacement, deformation and relative deformations of cross-section in direction of loaded force were determined on the base of the maps of displacements.
